The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Morocco jumps to 7,300

89 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 7,300, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 115,570 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 197, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 4,347.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 31.59% in Casablanca-Settat, 17.95% in Marrakech-Safi, 13.68% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 13.51% in Fez-Meknes, 8.03% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 9.38% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.47% in the Oriental region, 1.55% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.14% in Souss Massa, 0.59% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.05% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.07 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
