Morocco records 23 new coronavirus cases, 7,429 in total

23 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 7,429, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 134,698 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 198, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 4,686.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 32.24% in Casablanca-Settat, 17.75% in Marrakech-Safi, 13.64% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 13.35% in Fez-Meknes, 7.89% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 9.26% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.50% in the Oriental region, 1.52% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.14% in Souss Massa, 0.58% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.05% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.07 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
