Morocco records 54 new coronavirus cases, 7,697 in total

54 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 7,697, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 178,169 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 202, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 5,223.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 33.26% in Casablanca-Settat, 17.27% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.03% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 12.99% in Fez-Meknes, 7.61% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 9.11% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.43% in the Oriental region, 1.48% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.14% in Souss Massa, 0.56% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.05% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.06 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
