Morocco records 12 new coronavirus cases, 7,819 in total

12 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 7,819, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 208,366 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 205, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 5,754.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 33.78% in Casablanca-Settat, 17.12% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.12% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 12.80% in Fez-Meknes, 7.49% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 8.99% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.39% in the Oriental region, 1.48% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.14% in Souss Massa, 0.55% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.06% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.06 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
