Morocco records 27 new coronavirus cases, 8,030 in total

27 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 8,030, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 261,619 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 208, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 7,215.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 33.76% in Casablanca-Settat, 17.41% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.37% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 12.67% in Fez-Meknes, 7.30% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 8.88% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.33% in the Oriental region, 1.49% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.11% in Souss Massa, 0.56% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.06% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.06 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
