Morocco records 46 new coronavirus cases, 8,931 in total

46 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Monday and Tuesday in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 8,931, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 446,837 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 212, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 7,937.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 32.62% in Casablanca-Settat, 18.26% in Marrakech-Safi, 15.32% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 11.88% in Fez-Meknes, 6.56% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 10.04% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.22% in the Oriental region, 1.44% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.01% in Souss Massa, 0.54% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.06% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.06% in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
