Morocco records 206 new coronavirus cases, 9280 in total

206 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Thursday evening and Friday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 9,280, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 488,795 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 213, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 8,081.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 31.98% in Casablanca-Settat, 18.02% in Marrakech-Safi, 15.39% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 11.48% in Fez-Meknes, 6.31% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 11.64% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.16% in the Oriental region, 1.40% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 0.97% in Souss Massa, 0.53% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.08% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.05% in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
