295 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections to 11,633.
156 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries in the kingdom to 8,656, with a recovery rate of 74.4%.
One death was recorded between yesterday and today. The death toll stands at 218 dead, with a fatality rate of 1.9%. Morocco has 2,759 active cases under treatment, 20 of them are in a critical condition.
Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma region recorded 165 of the new cases, with 116 cases in Al Fahs Anjra, 21 in Tetouan, 18 in Tangier and 10 cases in Larache. 69 cases were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, including 62 in Casablanca, three in Mohammedia, two in El Jadida and two in Mediouna.
The Marrakech-Safi region recorded 25 new cases, all recorded in Marrakech, while 15 others were recorded in Fez and one in Sefrou. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 7 new cases, including two in Kénitra, 4 in Témara and one in Sidi Slimane.
Eight cases were recorded in Laayoune, in the region of Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, while 4 were recorded in the region of Beni Mellal-Khénifra (3 in Fqih Ben Saleh and one case in Azilal) and one case was recorded in the Tan Tan province (Guelmim Oued-Noun).
