214 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 15,542.
238 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 12,065.
Two deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 245. Morocco has 3,232 active cases.
Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima recorded most of the new cases, with 55 new one all in Tangier. 51 new cases were recorded in the city of Fez.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 42 new cases : 38 in Casablanca, 2 in El Jadida and 2 in Settat. 24 new cases were found in Marrakech-Safi : 16 in Marrakech, 7 in El Kelaat Sraghna and one case in Al Haouz.
Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra recorded 20 new cases all in the city of Laayoune. Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 10 new cases, mainly in Tan Tan.
7 new cases were recorded in Oujda (Oriental region). There are also three new cases in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region : 2 in Salé and 1 in Témara. Finally, one case was confirmed in Khénifra (region of Beni Mellal-Khénifra) and one case in Inzegane, in the region of Souss-Massa.
