165 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 16,262.
379 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recovered Covid-19 patients in the country to 13,821, with a recovery rate of 85%.
Two deaths were also recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 259, with a fatality rate of 1.6%. Morocco currently has 2182 active cases, 32 of them are in a critical condition.
Most of the new cases were recorded in the Fez-Meknes region, with 66 cases. 31 new cases were recorded in the Marrakech-Safi region.
27 new cases were confirmed in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 16 others were recorded in the Casablanca region. 11 were found in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, 7 in Beni Mellal-Khenifra and one in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region. One case was recorded in the Oriental region, two in Souss-Massa-Draa and three in Dakhla-Oued Dahab.
