Coronavirus : Bulgaria drops 14-day quarantine requirement for arrivals from Morocco

Bulgaria has eased travel restrictions for arrivals from a number of countries, including Morocco, The Sofia Globe reports. On Wednesday, July 15, the Bulgarian Health Ministry announced that the quarantine will be lifted on arrivals from Morocco, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Algeria, Gorgea, Japan, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and Ukraine.

Meanwhile, «no restrictions would be in place regarding Bulgarian nationals and members of their families, permanent residents of Bulgaria and members of their families, citizens of EU member states and the countries in the Schengen visa-free travel area (as well as members of their families), UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Algeria, Georgia, Japan, Morocco, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and Ukraine», the same source explained.

The decision goes into effect on Thursday, July 16. New travelers coming from said destinations, including Morocco, are also exempt from negative PCR tests requirement when entering Bulgaria, the same soure added.
