A «practical guide for the observance of preventive health measures in the organization of Eid Al-Adha» has been published jointly by the ministry of the Interior and the ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests.
The guide, which is part of the preparations for Eid Al-Adha 1441, defines the organization, management and operation of the souks and marketing areas for sheep and goats intended for slaughter at Eid Al-Adha for all those involved (visitors, breeders, buyers, transporters, etc.) with strict observance of health measures to prevent the risk of contamination of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the management of activities related to this occasion, before and during Eid.
It also provides a basis for putting in place all the logistics and human resources needed to ensure the proper application of the health measures adopted by the authorities, capable of preventing the risks of contamination linked to Covid-19.
The guide also includes supplementary measures specific to the additional temporary souks for Eid Al-Adha and the arrangements to be made on the day of Eid by the slaughterers and the various citizens.
