1,345 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 32,007.
642 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 22,190.
19 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 480. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (9), Tangier (5), Fez (2), Meknes (1), Marrakech (1) and Al Haouz (1).
Morocco now has 9,337 active cases under treatment, most of them are in the regions of Casablanca-Settat, Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, Fez-Meknes and Marrakech-Safi.
122 of these cases are in a serious or critical condition because of age and / or chronic illnesses, including 40 on ventilators. These cases are located in Casablanca-Settat (44), Marrakech-Safi (32), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma (20), Fès-Meknès (12), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (11) and Souss-Massa (3 ).
Most of the cases are in the Casablanca-Settat and Marrakech-Safi regions
The Casablanca-Settat region comes first with 432 new cases : 366 in Casablanca, 44 in Settat, 11 in Mohammedia, 4 in Sidi Bennour, 2 in Nouaceur, 2 in El Jadida, 2 in Benslimane and 1 in Berrechid.
Next comes Marrakech-Safi with 354 cases : 309 in Marrakech, 14 in Youssoufia, 13 in Safi, 8 in Essaouira, 8 in the province of Rhamna, 1 in Kelaa des Sraghna and 1 in the province of El Haouz.
In Fez-Meknes, 194 cases were recorded between yesterday and today : 100 in Fez, 48 in Meknes, 33 in Sefrou, 6 in Boulemane, 4 in Taza, 2 in El Hajeb and 1 in Taounate. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 131 new cases : 81 in Tangier, 26 in Ouazzane, 17 in Al Fahs Anjra, 6 in Tétouan and 1 in M'diq-Fnideq.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 101 cases : 46 in Salé, 25 in Rabat, 10 in Témara, 7 in Sidi Kacem, 6 in Kénitra, 6 in Khemisset and 1 in Sidi Slimane.
49 cases were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (45 in Errachidia, 2 in Tinghir and 2 in Zagora) while 40 cases were recorded in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (26 in Beni Mellal, 9 in Khouribga, 4 in Azilal and 1 to Fqih Bensaleh).
In the Oriental region, 22 new cases were recorded : 8 in Nador, 5 in Jerada, 5 in Oujda, 2 in Taourirt and 2 in Guercif.
11 cases were recorded in Souss-Massa (6 in Agadir Idda-Ou-Tanan, 3 in Inzegane-Ait-Melloul, 1 in Tata and 1 in Taroudant), 7 cases in Dakhla (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab ), 2 cases in Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra), 2 in Guelmim (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
