1,191 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 62,590.
1,240 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 47,595.
30 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,141.
The country now has 13,854 active cases under treatment. The number of critically ill patients reached 202, including 48 on ventilatos.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 377 : 306 in Grand Casablanca, 23 in El Jadida, 15 in Mohammedia, 9 in Mediouna, 8 in Nouaceur, 8 in Berrechid , 7 in Settat and 1 in Benslimane.
Next comes Marrakech-Safi with 135 new cases : 87 in Marrakech, 24 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 9 in Rehamna, 8 in Essaouira, 3 in Al Haouz, 2 in El Youssoufia and 2 in Chichaoua. Fez-Meknes has 133 new infections : 68 in Fez, 36 in Meknes, 11 in Taounate, 6 in Sefrou, 6 in Taza, 4 in Moulay Yacoub and 2 in Ifrane.
Drâa Tafilalet follows with 116 additional infections : 43 in Errachidia, 31 in Ouarzazate, 22 in Midelt, 16 in Zagora and 4 Tinghir. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 109 cases : 30 in Sale, 26 in Kénitra, 23 in Skhirat-Témara, 17 in Rabat, 8 in Sidi Slimane 4 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Khemisset.
The Beni Mellal-Khénifra region recorded 97 new cases : 39 in Azilal, 31 in Khouribga, 16 in Khénifra, 6 in Fqih Ben Salah and 5 in Beni Mellal.
As for Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, it recorded 89 new infections : 40 in Tanger-Asilah, 31 in Tétouan, 6 in M'diq-Fnidek, 6 in Al Hoceïma, 3 in Chefchaouen and 3 in Larache. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab confirmed 72 cases, all in the province of Oued Ed Dahab.
In Souss-Massa, 47 cases have been confirmed : 34 in Agadir Ida Outanane, 9 in Inezgane Aït Melloul and 4 in Chtouka Aït Baha. In the Oriental region, 16 infections have been confirmed : 8 in Nador, 6 in Oujda-Angad and 2 in Jerada.
