2,157 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 77,878.
2,484 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 59,723.
26 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,453. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (6), Taza (3), Fez (2), Marrakech (2), Tinghir (2), Midelt (2), Errachidia (1), Inzegane Ait Melloul (1), Al Haouz (1), Youssoufia (1), Chichaoua (1), Khénifra (1), Tétouan (1), Meknes (1) and Oujda (1).
The country has 16,708 active cases, including 244 in critical conditions. 52 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat region records 1,169 new cases : 959 in Casablanca, 58 in Mohammedia, 46 in Mediouna, 34 in Nouaceur, 27 in Berrechid, 20 in El Jadida, 15 in Settat and 10 in Sidi Bennour.
Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 155 new cases : 68 in Errachidia, 48 in Midelt, 24 in Zagora, 9 in Tinghir and 6 cases in Ouarzazate. Souss-Massa follows with 139 new infections : 72 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 40 in Inzegane Ait Melloul, 12 in Taroudant, 9 in Chtouka Ait Baha and 6 cases in Tiznit.
For its part, Marrakech-Safi recorded 138 new cases : 82 in Marrakech, 22 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 11 in the province of El Haouz, 8 in Rhamna, 8 in Youssoufia, 6 in Essaouira and one case in Chichaoua.
In Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 132 cases were confirmed : 44 in Khouribga, 34 in Fqih Bensaleh, 29 in Beni Mellal, 19 in Khénifra and 6 cases in Azilal.
129 new infections were recorded in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra : 48 in Kénitra, 26 in Salé, 24 in Skhirat-Témara, 12 in Khemisset, 11 in Rabat, 7 in Sidi Slimane and one case in Sidi Kacem.
96 cases were recorded in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (37 in Tanger-Assilah, 18 in Tétouan, 14 in M'diq-Fnideq, 13 in Larache, 12 in Al Hoceima and two cases in Ouazzane), 73 in Fez-Meknes (21 in Fez, 15 in Sefrou, 14 in Meknes, 10 in Taza, 10 in Ifrane and 3 cases in El Hajeb) 57 in the Oriental (24 in Oujda-Angad, 19 in Guercif and 14 cases in Nador).
44 new cases were confirmed in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dkahla-Oued Ed-Dahab), 15 cases in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (9 in Es-Smara, 4 in Laâyoune, 2 in Boujdour and one case in Tarfaya) and 10 cases in Guelmim-Oued Noun (5 in Sidi Ifni, 4 in Guelmim and one case in Tan Tan).
