2,430 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 82,197.
2,344 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 64,194.
33 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,524. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (8), Marrakech (6), Errachidia (2), Tanger-Assilah (2), Fès (2), Laâyoune (1), Figuig (1), Oujda-Angad (1), Taza (1), Sefrou (1), Meknès (1), Al Hoceima (1), Tinghir (1), Midelt (1), Essaouira (1), Rabat (1), El Jadida (1) and Mediouna (1 ).
The country has 16,479 active cases, including 252 in critical conditions. 51 of them are on ventilators.
Hundreds of infections in Casablanca, Kénitra and Inzegane Ait Melloul
The Casablanca-Settat recorded 895 new cases : 696 in Casablanca, 41 in Mediouna, 39 in Settat, 35 in Nouaceur, 34 in Mohammedia, 31 in Berrechid, 14 in El Jadida, 4 in Sidi Bennour and one case in Benslimane.
Then comes the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region with 344 new infections : 246 in Kénitra, 38 in Salé, 26 in Skhirat-Témara, 18 in Rabat, 9 in Sidi Kacem and 7 cases in Khmissat. Souss-Massa, for its part, confirmed 336 new cases : 224 in Inzegane Ait Melloul, 65 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 25 in Chtouka Ait Baha, 15 in Tiznit, 5 in Taroudant and two cases in Tata.
Marrakech-Safi has 220 new cases : 109 in Marrakech, 46 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 25 in Youssoufia, 14 in Safi, 10 in the province of El Haouz, 7 in Essaouira, 6 in Rhamna and 3 in Chichaoua.
167 cases were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (60 in Midelt, 47 in Errachidia, 22 in Tinghir, 21 in Ouarzazate and 17 in Zagora).
In Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 111 new cases were recorded : 41 in Tanger-Assilah, 24 in Tétouan, 17 in M'diq-Fnideq, 15 in Al Hoceima, 8 in Larache, 5 in Ouazzane and one case in Chefchaouen .
107 cases were recorded in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (37 in Beni Mellal, 23 in Azilal, 20 in Khouribga, 16 in Khénifra and 11 in Fqih Bensaleh), 97 cases in Fez-Meknes (29 in Fès, 19 in Meknès, 18 ç Sefrou, 15 in Taza, 6 in Taounate, 6 in El Hajeb, 3 in Ifrane and one case in Boulmane) 70 in the Oriental (46 in Oujda-Angad, 7 in Nador, 5 in Jerada, 4 in Taourirt, 3 in Berkane, 3 in Guercif and 2 in Driouch).
63 cases were recorded in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab), 13 in Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (9 in Laâyoune, 2 in Boujdour, one case in Tarfaya and another in Es-Smara) and 7 in Guelmim-Oued Noun (5 in Tan Tan, one case in Guelmim and another in Sidi Ifni).
