2,121 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 90,324.
2,077 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 71,047.
34 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,648. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (8), Marrakech (4), Tétouan (3), Fès (3), Meknès (2), Khénifra (2), Settat (1), Salé (1), Rabat (1) , Agadir (1), Khouribga (1), Fqih Bensaleh (1), Tanger-Assilah (1), Larache (1), Ouarzazate (1), Driouch (1), Oued Ed-Dahab (1) and Laâyoune (1).
The country has 17,619 active cases, including 263 in critical conditions. 58 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 924 cases : 703 in Casablanca, 118 in Settat, 26 in El Jadida, 23 in Mediouna, 18 in Mohammedia, 17 in Nouaceur, 15 in Berrechid, 2 in Sidi Bennour and 2 cases in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, which has 245 new cases : 66 in Salé, 62 in Skhirat-Témara, 40 in Kénitra, 24 in Khemisset, 24 in Rabat, 24 in Sidi Kacem and 5 in sidi Slimane.
In Marrakech-Safi, 163 new cases were recorded : 85 in Marrakech, 59 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 13 in Youssoufia, 3 in Essaouira and three cases in the province of Rhamna. 150 cases were recorded in Souss-Massa : 84 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 38 in Inzegane Aït Melloul, 18 in Chtouka Aït Baha and 10 cases in Taroudant.
For its part, Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 143 cases : 40 in Khénifra, 39 in Khouribga, 34 in Beni Mellal, 25 in Fqih Bensaleh and 5 cases in Azilal.
Drâa-Tafilalet region recorded 108 new infections (53 in Tinghir, 20 in Errachidia, 14 in Midelt, 14 in Ouarzazate and 7 cases in Zagora) while the Oriental identified 79 (46 in Oujda-Angad, 13 in Taourirt, 6 in Nador, 6 in Figuig, 5 in Berkane, one case in Jerada and another in Dirouch).
Fès-Meknes recorded, for its part, 68 new cases : 26 in Fès, 25 in Meknes, 10 in Sefrou, 4 in Taza and 3 El Hajeb cases.
In the southern provinces, 49 new cases were recorded in Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab), 44 in the region of Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (42 in Laâyoune and two in Tarfaya) while 26 cases were recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun (14 in Assa Zag, 10 in Guelmim, one case in Tan Tan and another in Sidi Ifni).
