1,692 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 92,016.
1,921 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 72,968.
38 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,686. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (8), Marrakech (7), Errachidia (3), Sefrou (2), Oujda (2), Ouarzazate (2), Salé (2), Midelt (1), Chichaoua (1) , Agadir (1), Tanger-Assilah (1), Tetouan (1), Fès (1), Meknes (1), Boulmane (1), Taza (1), Khénifra (1), Khouribga (1) and Assa Zag (1).
The country has 17,362 active cases, including 261 in critical conditions. 49 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 533 cases : 297 in Casablanca, 88 in Settat, 38 in Berrechid, 35 in Nouaceur, 29 in El Jadida, 23 in Mohammedia, 20 in Mediouna and 3 cases in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, which has 279 new cases : 94 in Kénitra, 60 in Salé, 42 in Rabat, 38 in Skhirat-Témara, 24 in Sidi Slimane, 11 cases in Sidi Kacem and 10 in Khemisset.
In Drâa-Tafilalet, 179 new cases were recorded : 76 in Errachidia, 48 in Midelt, 22 in Zagora, 21 in Tinghir and 12 cases in Ouarzazate. 149 new cases were recorded in Marrakech-Safi : 98 in Marrakech, 20 in Youssoufia, 11 in the province of Al Haouz, 6 in Safi, 6 in the province of Rhamna, 5 in Chichaoua and 3 cases in Essaouira.
Souss-Massa recorded, for its part, 142 new infections : 78 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 48 in Inzegane Aït Melloul, 10 in Tiznit, 4 in Chtouka Aït Baha and 2 cases in Taroudant. For its part, Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima confirmed 112 new cases : 39 in Tanger-Assilah, 23 in Tétouan, 21 in Al Hoceima, 12 in Larache, 10 in M'diq-Fnideq, 7 in Ouazzane and one case in Chefchaouen.
In the Oriental region, 102 new cases were detected : 65 in Oujda-Angad, 12 in Jerada, 7 in Nador, 7 in Berkane, 4 in Guercif, 3 in Driouch, 3 in Taourirt and one case in Figuig.
89 cases were recorded in Fès-Meknes (24 in Meknes, 23 in Fès, 13 in Boulmane, 10 in Taza, 8 in Sefrou, 7 in Ifrane and 4 in El Hajeb), 53 in Dakhla- Oued Ed-Dahab (Oued Ed-Dahab province) and 23 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (18 in Béni Mellal and 5 in Khénifra).
In the southern provinces, 19 cases were recorded in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (17 in Laâyoune and 2 cases in Es-Smara), while Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 11 (4 in Guelmim, 3 in Assa Zag, 2 in Tan Tan and 2 in Sidi Ifni).
