2,719 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 115,241.
2,218 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 94,150.
43 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,041. 18 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 5 in the Oriental, 5 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 in Souss-Massa, 3 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 2 in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, 4 in Fès-Meknes and 2 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra.
The country has 19,050 active cases, including 274 in critical conditions. 40 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,397 cases: 1,037 in Casablanca, 77 in El Jadida, 72 in Berrechid, 55 in Mohammedia, 55 in Nouaceur, 40 in Médiouna, 39 in Settat, 19 in Benslimane and 3 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 315 cases: 117 in Kénitra, 62 in Salé, 56 in Rabat, 48 in Témara-Skhirat, 22 in Khémisset, 7 in Sidi Slimane and 3 in Sidi Kacem.
Marrakech-Safi has 283 new cases: 159 in Marrakech, 49 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 27 in Youssoufia, 22 in Rehamna, 12 in Chichaoua, 6 in El Haouz, 6 in Essaouira and 2 in Safi. The Drâa-Tafilalet region confirmed 143 new infections: 53 in Errachidia, 29 in Midelt, 28 in Zagora, 23 in Tinghir and 10 in Ouarzazate.
The Oriental region has 134 infections: 64 in Oujda-Angad, 36 in Nador, 20 in Jerada, 6 in Guercif, 4 in Berkane, 2 in Figuig, 1 in Taourirt and 1 in Driouch. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 109 additional infections: 38 in Tanger-Asilah, 31 in Tétouan, 15 in Larache, 11 in Al Hoceïma, 9 in M'diq-Fnideq and 5 in Ouezzane.
Souss-Massa recorded 106 new cases: 76 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 16 in Taroudant, 12 in Chtouka Aït Baha, 1 in Tata and 1 in Inezgane Aït Melloul. In Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 95 cases confirmed: 33 in Beni Mellal, 27 in Khénifra, 16 in Khouribga, 10 in Azilal and 9 in Fqih Ben Salah.
As for Fès-Meknes, it recorded 64 cases: 28 in Taza, 16 in Fès, 15 in Meknes, 3 in Ifrane, 1 in Boulemane and 1 in Sefrou.
Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 43, all in the city of Laâyoune. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab recorded 21 in Oued Ed Dahab. Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 9 cases: 6 in Guelmim and 3 in Assa Zag.
