2,076 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 121,183.
2,785 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 100,253.
39 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,152. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (9), Marrakech (5), Skhirat-Témara (3), Nador (2), Khouribga (2), El Haouz (2), Tétouan (2), Taza (2), Guelmim (1), Sefrou (1), Meknès (1), Fès (1), Inzegane-Ait Melloul (1), Agadir (1), Fqih Bensaleh (1), Khénifra (1), Beni Mellal (1), Jerada (1), Oujda (1) and Settat (1).
The country has 18,778 active cases, including 440 in critical conditions. 49 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,024 cases: 731 in Casablanca, 72 in Settat, 68 in Mohammedia, 46 in Nouaceur, 43 in Berrechid, 36 in El Jadida, 21 in Mediouna, 6 in Sidi Bennour and one case in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 202 new infections: 72 in Skhirat-Témara, 42 in Kénitra, 38 in Salé, 27 in Rabat, 17 in Khemisset, 5 in Sidi Kacem and one case in Sidi Slimane.
The Oriental follows with 196 new cases: 54 in Oujda-Angad, 47 in Jerada, 39 in Guercif, 16 in Figuig, 14 in Taourirt, 14 in Nador, 10 in Berkane and two cases in Driouch. 142 new infections were confirmed in Beni Mellal-Khénifra: 57 in Beni Mellal, 39 in Khénifra, 25 in Azilal, 15 in Fqih Bensaleh and 6 cases in Khouribga.
Souss-Massa recorded 135 new cases: 69 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 35 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 24 in Taroudant, 3 in Chtouka Ait Baha, 3 in Tata and one case in Tiznit.
Marrakech-Safi confirmed 134 additional cases: 78 in Marrakech, 18 in Chichaoua, 12 in Youssoufia, 10 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 8 cases in Rhamna and 8 others in Essaouira.
70 cases were recorded in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (24 in Tétouan, 23 in Tanger-Assilah, 16 in Larache, 4 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 2 in Al Hoceima and one case in Ouazzane), 60 in Drâa-Tafilalet (26 in Errachidia, 26 in Midelt, 7 in Tinghir and one case in Ouarzazate) as well as 57 in Fès-Meknès (16 in Fès, 14 in Meknes, 12 in Taza, 4 in Sefrou , 3 in Ifrane, 3 in Taounate, 2 in El Hajeb, 2 in Boulmane and one case in Moulay Yacoub).
In the southern provinces, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra recorded 27 cases (all in Laâyoune), Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 23 (10 in Sidi Ifni, 6 in Guelmim, 5 in Assa Zag and two in Tan Tan ), while 6 cases were recorded in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
