The findings of the Arab Index showed that 47% of Moroccans consider the economic situation in their country to be bad. 70% of Moroccan respondents considered the Palestinian issue to be theirs as well, and only 4% of Moroccans support recognizing Israel.
Arab countries’ plans to normalize ties with Israel seem to be postponed to a later date. This is the message conveyed to Jared Kushner by the leaders of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
After the United Arab Emirates normalized ties with Israel, the United States is planning to convince other Arab countries into following suit. A US-led regional peace summit is planned of that purpose and Morocco would have been one of the countries that confirmed participation.
