23.96.ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ

23.96. Rends le bien pour le mal, car Nous savons mieux que quiconque ce qu'ils inventent.

23.96 . Repel evil with that which is better . We are best Aware of that which they allege .

23.96. IdfaAA biallatee hiya ahsanu alssayyi-ata nahnu aAAlamu bima yasifoona

23.97.وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ

23.97. Dis : «Seigneur, je me réfugie en Toi contre les tentations des démons ,

23.97 . And say : My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones ,

23.97. Waqul rabbi aAAoothu bika min hamazati alshshayateeni

23.98.وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ

23.98. et je me mets sous Ta protection, Seigneur, contre leur approche.»

23.98 . And I seek refuge in Thee , my Lord , lest they be present with me ,

23.98. WaaAAoothu bika rabbi an yahdurooni

23.99.حَتَّى إِذَا جَاء أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ

23.99. Puis, quand la mort se présente à l'un d'eux, il s'écrie : «Seigneur, fais-moi revenir sur Terre,

23.99 . Until , when death cometh unto one of them , he saith : My Lord! Send me back ,

23.99. Hatta itha jaa ahadahumu almawtu qala rabbi irjiAAooni

23.100.لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحاً فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّا إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا وَمِن وَرَائِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

23.100. afin que j'accomplisse quelques bonnes actions que j'avais négligé de faire !» Oh que non ! Ce n'est là qu'une vaine parole, car derrière eux se trouve dressée une barrière jusqu'au Jour de la Résurrection.

23.100 . That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh ; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised .
