Morocco’s diplomatic campaign in Latin America has finally paid off. After resuming diplomatic relations with the Kingdom in April 2017, the Cuban authorities have appointed their first ambassador to Rabat.

Since Saturday, the Polisario Front has been mobilized to denounce the death of a young Sahrawi woman, who lost her life in a car accident in Laayoune. Letters have even been sent to the United Nations and the European Union to attack Morocco.
In 2020, the Republic of Ireland will be opening its first embassy in Morocco, announcing the beginning of a new chapter in its relations with the Kingdom. After a period marked with ups and downs, especially when it comes to the Western Sahara conflict, the two countries have managed to establish partnerships in several fields, including the education sector.
