3,317 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 163,650.
2,077 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 136,036.
46 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,772. 12 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 5 in the Oriental, 5 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 4 in Souss-Massa, 3 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 3 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 2 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Fès-Meknès, 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and one death in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 24,842 active cases, including 521 in critical conditions. 52 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,708 cases: 1,283 Casablanca, 98 in Nouaceur, 97 in Berrechid, 74 in Mohammedia, 68 in Settat, 45 in El Jadida, 23 in Benslimane, 12 in Mediouna and 8 cases in Sidi Bennour. Next comes the Oriental region with 479 cases: 306 in Oujda-Angad, 33 in Nador, 26 in Guercif, 18 in Jerada, 17 in Taourirt, 10 in Berkane and 9 cases in Driouch.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 233 new infections: 85 in Kénitra, 58 in Salé, 39 in Skhirat-Témara, 17 in Khemisset, 15 in Sidi Slimane, 11 in Sidi Kacem and 8 cases in Rabat. 217 new cases were recorded in Souss-Massa: 114 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 48 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 41 in Taroudant, 9 in Tiznit and 5 cases in Chtouka-Ait Baha.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima confirmed 202 new infections: 74 in Tanger-Assilah, 41 in Tétouan, 36 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 17 in Larache, 10 in Chefchaouen and 2 cases in Ouazzane.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 175 new infections: 117 in Marrakech, 16 in Youssoufia, 12 in Essaouira, 10 in Chichaoua, 7 in Rhamna, 7 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 3 in the province of Al Haouz and 3 case in Safi.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra follows with 146 new cases: 59 in Khouribga, 50 in Fqih Bensaleh, 23 in Azilal, 9 in Khénifra and 5 cases in Beni Mellal.
102 confirmed cases were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (66 in Errachidia, 14 in Tinghir, 11 in Ouarzazate, 7 in Midelt and 4 cases in Zagora) and 61 in Fès-Meknes (16 in Fès, 14 in Taza, 11 in Taounate, 10 in Meknès, 6 in Sefrou, 2 in Boulmane, one case in El Hajeb and another in Ifrane).
In the southern provinces, 36 cases were recorded in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (31 in Laâyoune, 3 in Es-Smara and two cases in Boujdour) while 11 infections were confirmed in Guelmim-Oued Noun (9 in Guelmim and two cases in Sidi Ifni) and 7 others in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
