The Zamalek vs. Raja Casablanca game, the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals, has been postponed to November 1st, the African football Confederation (CAF) announced.
Initially scheduled for Saturday, October 24, the game was rescheduled after a number of coronavirus infections were recorded among the Raja Casablanca team, Le Matin reports.
On Tuesday, local authorities in Casablanca prevented the Raja Casablanca team from heading to Egypt. Earlier that day, health authorities in the city urged the team to observe a weeklong quarantine.
Earlier this week, seven new coronavirus cases were recorded within the Raja Casablanca team.
On Sunday, Zamalek was against Raja, after Moroccan Achraf Bencharki scored a goal.
