Indian football club Mumbai City FC signed Moroccan midfielder Ahmed Jahouh, Friday, for the upcoming Indian Super League season, scheduled for November. According to Press Trust of India (PTI), the footballer joined the club for a two-year-contract.
Jahouh is the first Moroccan player to join an Indian club. In 2017, FC Goa signed him. «I have spent three years in India and I believe that I have a lot left to achieve. When I spoke to the management at Mumbai City about the targets and the vision they have, I was convinced that this club is where I wanted to be», Ahmed said.
Jahouh debuted his career with Ittihad Khemisset. He later joined Moghreb Tetouan for five seasons. He also played for Raja Casablanca an FUS Rabat.
