1,899 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 417,125.
2,531 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 378,154.
48 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,957. 13 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 10 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 7 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 5 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 in Fès-Meknès, 3 in the Oriental, 3 in Guelmim-Oued Noun 1 in Souss-Massa, 1 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 32,014 active cases, including 1,071 in critical conditions. 95 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 641 cases: 474 in Casablanca, 51 in El Jadida, 33 in Mohammedia, 29 in Nouaceur, 22 in Settat, 20 in Médiouna, 9 in Berrechid and 3 in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 309 cases: 98 in Sale, 83 in Kénitra, 56 in Skhirat-Témara, 48 in Rabat, 22 in Khemisset 2 in Sidi Slimane.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 260 infections in 24 hours: 87 in Tanger-Assilah, 72 in Tétouan, 29 Al Hoceïma, 23 in Larache, 23 in M'diq-Fnideq, 16 in Ouezzane and 10 in Chefchaouen. Marrakech-Safi recorded 190 new cases: 113 in Marrakech, 23 in El Youssoufia, 13 in Essaouira, 13 in Chichaoua, 11 in Safi, 8 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 6 in Rehamna and 3 in Al Haouz.
Souss-Massa has 164 cases: 57 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 39 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 27 in Chtouka Aït Baha, 24 in Tiznit and 17 in Taroudant. Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 73 cases: 24 in Midelt, 21 in Errachidia, 12 in Ouarzazate, 12 in Tinghir and 4 in Zagora.
Fès-Meknes confirmed 70 cases: 26 in Fez, 11 in Taza, 11 in Meknes, 6 in Sefrou, 5 in Taounat, 5 in Moulay Yacoub, 3 in Boulemane, 2 in El Hajeb and 2 in Ifrane . The Oriental region follows with 69 cases: 22 in Nador, 19 in Berkane, 16 in Oujda-Angad, 5 in Driouch, 3 in Taourirt, 3 in Jerada and 1 in Figuig.
Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 41 cases: 31 in Laâyoune, 5 in Es-Semara and 5 in Boujdour. Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 40 new infections: 14 in Fqih Bensalah, 11 in Khouribga, 8 in Khénifra, 6 Beni Mellal and 1 in Azilal.
Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 33 infections :30 in Guelmim, 2 in Tan Tan and 2 in Sidi Ifni. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab recorded 9 new cases, all in Oued Ed-Dahab.
