Moroccan-Italian musician artist Noureddine Fatty is representing Morocco at the Festival of New Generations of Naples, which takes place from December 28 to 30, live streaming on the festival's Facebook page.

The festival organizers have selected Noureddine Fatty to take part in this cultural event by presenting Taragnawa project, a musical project that connects Mediterranean cultures through Gnawa and Tarantella music, traditional music and dance from the Calabria region in southern Italy.

The musical project Taragnawa project will be presented for the first time on Wednesday at this international festival attended by participants from more than 50 countries.

In a statement to MAP, Noureddine Fatty indicated that Taragnawa project is distinguished by the creation of a unique musical fusion between Gnaoua and Tarantella art, stressing that these two musical genres have several similarities.

According to him, the objective of this musical fusion is to build bridges between Moroccan and Italian cultures and to highlight the common denominators of Mediterranean culture.
