1,005 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 443,146.
1,225 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 413,393.
33 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,485. 11 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 5 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 5 in Fès-Meknès, 4 in Marrakech-Safi, 3 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 2 in Khénifra-Béni Mellal , 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet and 1 in Souss-Massa.
The country has 22,268 active cases, including 1,102 in critical conditions. 89 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 312 cases: 250 in Casablanca, 30 in El Jadida, 12 in Mohammedia, 10 in Nouaceur, 8 in Berrechid, 1 in Settat and 1 in Médiouna. Then comes Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma with 152 infections in 24 hours: 60 in Tangier-Assilah, 42 in Tetouan, 16 in M'diq-Fnideq, 13 in Chefchaouen, 11 in Al Hoceïma, 6 in Larache and 4 in Ouezzane.
Souss-Massa recorded 129 cases: 66 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 32 in Tata, 12 in Tiznit, 11 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 7 in Taroudant and 1 in Chtouka Aït Baha. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 110 cases: 40 in Kénitra, 29 in Salé, 24 in Skhirat-Témara, 9 in Rabat, 4 in Khémisset and 4 in Sidi Slimane.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 98 new cases: 44 in Essaouira, 32 in Marrakech, 9 in Youssoufia, 5 in Safi, 4 in Chichaoua, 3 in Kelâa des Sraghna and 1 in Rehamna. Fès-Meknes confirmed 62 cases: 29 in Fez, 8 in Taza, 8 in Sefrou, 7 in Taounat, 7 in Meknes, 2 in Ifrane and 1 in Boulemane.
Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab recorded 42 new cases, all in Oued Ed-Dahab. Beni Mellal-Khénifra for its part recorded 28 new infections: 16 in Beni Mellal, 10 in Azilal, 7 in Khouribga and 1 in Fkih Bensalah.
Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 25 cases: 19 in Laâyoune, 4 in Tarfaya and 2 in Boujdour. In Drâa-Tafilalet, 19 were confirmed: 9 in Errachidia, 4 in Ouarzazate, 3 in Midelt and 3 in Tinghir.
Oriental region recorded 16 cases: 9 in Oujda-Angad, 6 in Nador and 1 in Driouch. Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 12: 7 in Tan Tan, 3 in Guelmim and 2 in Sidi Ifni.
