Covid-19 in Morocco : 338 new infections and 1 death on Wednesday

338 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 515,758. 7,029,682 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,673,903 people have received the second.

349 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 503,210.

1 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,106. The only death was recorded in Marrakech-Safi.

The country has 2,442 active cases, including 192 in critical conditions. 7 of them are on ventilators.

Casablanca-Settat recorded 208 cases: 158 in Casablanca, 18 in Nouaceur, 13 Mohammedia, 6 in El Jadida, 5 in Médiouna, 3 in Settat, 2 in Berrechid , 2 in Benslimane and 1 in Sidi Bennour.

Souss-Massa recorded 29 cases: 14 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane, 6 in Inezgane-Aït Melloul, 5 in Tiznit, 2 in Taroudant and 2 in Chtouka Ait Baha. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 23 cases: 6 in Skhirat-Témara, 6 in Rabat, 6 in Salé, 3 in Kénitra, 1 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Sidi Slimane.

Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma confirmed 23 cases: 11 in Tangier-Assilah, 11 in Ouezzane and 1 in Tetouan. Marrakech-Safi follows with 22 cases: 17 in Marrakech, 3 in El Kelâa des Sraghna, 1 in Essaouira and 1 in Safi. Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab confirmed 14 in Oued Ed-Dahab. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra recorded 9 cases: 7 in Laâyoune and 2 in Boujdour.

The Oriental region follows with 5 cases: 3 in Oujda-Angad, 1 in Nador and 1 in Driouch. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 2: 1 in Khénifra and 1 in Beni Mellal. Fès-Meknes had 2 in Fez. Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 1 in Errachidia.
