Covid-19 in Morocco : 90 new infections and 4 deaths on Monday

90 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 517,113. 7,832,620 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,875,332 people have received the second.

164 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 505,392.

4 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,126. 2 of these deaths were confirmed in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Marrakech-Safi and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.

The country has 2,595 active cases, including 165 in critical conditions. 5 of them are on ventilators.

Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 41 cases: 19 in Sale, 10 in Rabat, 10 in Kénitra, 5 in Skhirat-Témara, 1 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Khemisset. Then comes Casablanca-Settat with 28 cases: 24 in Casablanca, 3 in Nouaceur and 1 in El Jadida. Marrakech-Safi follows with 6 cases in Marrakech.

Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab follows with 7 cases in Oued-Ed Dahab. Souss-Massa recorded 4: 3 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane and 1 in Chtouka Aït Baha. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 3 new ones: 2 in Khouribga and 1 in Beni Mellal. The Oriental region confirmed 1 case in Oujda-Angad.
