TCR World Tour to host one of its 2024 rounds in Marrakech

The TCR World Tour is going to have a nine-race calendar for 2024, with a round in Morocco, Touring Car Times reported on Friday.

Other rounds will be hosted by Italy, USA, Brazil, Uruguay, China, Australia and Macau. The Morocco round will be held at the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan in Marrakech on May 3-4.

The season will start in Italy in April, before moving to Marrakech in May, the USA in Jun, Brazil in July, Uruguay in August and China in September. The last three rounds will be held in Australia and Macau in November.

For the record, the TCR World Tour has been granted FIA status and will be known as the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour from 2024.
