Forget Bali’s crowds and Mexico’s price tag. Whether you are chasing small or large waves, Morocco is the new Mecca of surfers. In addition to the good waves and great vibes, Morocco has it all. Red Bull's «NO CONTEST OFF TOUR» reveals Morocco's secret surf sauce: affordability, epic waves, delicious food, and warm sunshine.

«For the last decade Morocco has ranked as the most visited country in Africa», says No Contest host Ashton Goggans, «and by the end of this episode we'll find out why, out of the 10-million foreigners arriving here each year, a million of them are surfers».

Indeed, Morocco offers a 3,500km of Atlantic playground, from Taghazout's beginner-friendly spots to Safi's world-class breaks. Ride October-April's perfect swells, with temperatures as balmy as a mint tea (17-21°C).

In a video published in November, Red Bull’s «NO CONTEST OFF TOUR» discovers these surfing locations and accompanies local and foreign surfers on their hunt for waves.

But Morocco's magic goes deeper than surfing spots. Red Bull’s team dives into bustling economic capital Casablanca, meets local board-shaping artisans, and experiences the spiritual depth of Ramadan. In Safi, the Red Bull team meets surfing champions and discovers a thriving, millenia-old pottery tradition for which the city is famous the world over.
