Police at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca apprehended a 45-year-old Indian citizen on Monday following an international arrest warrant issued by Saudi Arabian authorities.

Security sources confirmed the individual was listed on Interpol's red notice database, requested by the National Central Office in Riyadh. He is suspected of breach of trust involving over 2.5 million Saudi riyals while employed as a project manager in a Saudi commercial institution.

The suspect remains under guard pending official referral to the relevant Public Prosecution. Interpol's Rabat office will notify its Saudi counterpart regarding the arrest and initiate extradition procedures.

This operation underscores Morocco's commitment to upholding international cooperation in security matters and actively pursuing individuals wanted for transnational crimes.
