Reims FC has announced the loan of French-Moroccan striker Amine Salama to Stade Malherbe Caen, competing in Ligue 2, until the end of the current season.
In a statement, Reims explained the loan aims to provide Salama with more playing time to enhance his performance.
Stade Malherbe Caen, on the other hand, highlighted Salama's professional debut with USL Dunkerque in 2022, his impressive performance with Angers in the Ligue 1 last season where he scored three goals, and his subsequent move to Reims last summer.
Following 13 appearances with Reims, the 23-year-old will now play under the guidance of Nicolas Sioppi.
«Amin is capable of playing in all attacking positions», said Caen's sporting director, Johan Eudelin. «He possesses pace and rhythm, a profile that aligns with coach Sioppi's requirements».
