Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska lauded cooperation between Morocco and Spain on migration, dubbing it «exemplary» during an interview with public television channel TVE on Friday.
«Cooperation between Morocco and Spain is exemplary», the Minister declared. «We have been close, reliable, and loyal partners for a long time».
This comes after Grande-Marlaska's first foreign visit to Morocco in January following the inauguration of the new Spanish government. During that visit, he emphasized in an exclusive interview with MAP that «the foundations of cooperation between Morocco and Spain have been built over the years on shared goals and principles, within a framework of mutual trust and absolute loyalty, enabling both parties to develop means of interaction in a spirit of effectiveness and efficiency».
The two nations are connected by a multi-dimensional strategic partnership encompassing all fields, solidified by the Roadmap adopted in April 2022 during the visit of Spanish President Pedro Sanchez to Morocco at the invitation of King Mohammed VI.
