Moroccan cyclist Mounir Makhchoun takes podium spot in Tour du Maroc

Moroccan cyclist Mounir Makhchoun took third place on the podium in the third stage of the Tour du Maroc cycliste, between Agadir and Essaouira on June 2nd. He came in behind French cyclist Paul Hennequin, from the «Nice Métropole Côte d'Azur» team, who covered the distance in 4 hours, 19 minutes and 19 seconds.

The overall classification is currently dominated by French cyclist Emmanuel Cognet, who maintains his yellow jersey. Fellow Moroccans Alessio Cialone and Rayan Boulahoite are close behind, in second and third place respectively. Moroccan cyclist Achrafe Doghmi climbed to eleventh place in the overall classification.

In the points classification, Moroccan cyclist Adil Arbaoui took fifth place, while Paul Hennequin took first place and the green jersey. In the mountain classification, Moroccan cyclists Driss Alouani and Oussama Khafi took second and third place respectively.
