Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch announced on Thursday that the government will work diligently to implement the royal vision outlined in King Mohammed VI’s speech marking the 49th anniversary of the Green March.

Akhannouch emphasized the importance of the Moroccan community abroad in defending the national cause of territorial integrity and the sacred symbols of the nation. He highlighted the King’s call to restructure the institutional framework for managing the affairs of Moroccans living abroad, including the establishment of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad and the Mohammedia Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad.

The Prime Minister announced that a meeting would be held with relevant ministerial departments to discuss the implementation of the royal directives and develop an action plan for restructuring the institutions responsible for Moroccan expatriates’ affairs.

Akhannouch reiterated Morocco’s commitment to resolving the artificial dispute over the Sahara. He emphasized the stark contrast between Morocco’s realistic and legitimate approach and the outdated and unrealistic positions of its adversaries.

The Prime Minister assured that the government will continue to defend the national cause, particularly during this critical period for the territorial integrity issue.
