In these cities, citizens gathered in squares and streets, chanting slogans that praised the Palestinian resistance and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people. Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani announced the ceasefire agreement yesterday evening. The deal includes a prisoner swap between the Palestinian resistance and Israel in the Gaza Strip. Sheikh Mohammed called for calm in the region until the agreement's implementation begins on Sunday, January 19.
