Morocco welcomes 15 million tourists by September 2025 marking a 14 percent increase

By the close of September 2025, Morocco had opened its doors to 15 million tourists, reflecting a remarkable surge of over 14% compared to the same period the previous year. The Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy reported that just last month, the country welcomed 1.4 million visitors, representing an impressive year-on-year increase of more than 9%.

The ministry attributes this new record to enhanced air connectivity, strategic marketing campaigns, and significant improvements in the overall tourist experience.
