Wydad Casablanca triumphs 3-0 over Nairobi United in CAF Confederation Cup opener

Wydad Casablanca secured a home victory against Kenya's Nairobi United with a 3-0 win on Sunday, during the first match of Group B in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The goals for the Reds were scored by Ayoub Boucheta (3rd minute), Mohamed Bouchouari (45th minute), and Mohamed Rayhi (86th minute).

In the other Group B match, Maniema Union from the Democratic Republic of Congo defeated Tanzania's Azam with a 2-0 scoreline, a result that puts WAC at the top of the group thanks to their superior goal difference.
