Human skull discovery in Safi port triggers investigation

On Saturday evening, a human skull was discovered in the port basin of Safi, prompting security authorities to open an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to available information, authorities were alerted after several port workers noticed the skull. Security services subsequently arrived at the scene and secured the area in accordance with legal procedures.

The remains were transferred to the National Laboratory of Forensic Police for medical examinations and DNA analysis, in an effort to identify the individual and determine how long the skull had been submerged in the water.
