Rabat prosecutor orders detention of 136 after football match riots at Moulay Abdellah stadium

The public prosecutor in Rabat has ordered 136 individuals to be placed under provisional detention, with two of them remaining under investigation, following the riots that occurred during the football match held last night between the Royal Army team and Raja Club Athletic.

The match, which concluded with a victory for the military team, witnessed acts of violence immediately after the final whistle, resulting in material damage inside the stadium. The unrest then spilled outside, affecting several public and private properties.
