Maghreb de Fès (MAS) announced on Tuesday that it had ended its contract with Spanish coach Pablo Franco, a day after parting ways with sporting director Badr Kadouri.

In a statement, the Fez-based club confirmed the end of its contractual relationship with the Spanish coach, while expressing deep gratitude for his professionalism, commitment, and dedication during his time at the helm of the team.

MAS stressed that Pablo Franco «will forever be etched in the club’s history» for leading the Yellow and Blacks to a historic Moroccan league title, a triumph the club said would remain in the memory of its entire family.

The announcement came a day after Maghreb de Fès decided to end its collaboration with its sporting director. The club also unveiled a major restructuring of its sporting management, as part of the second phase of its modernization project.

MAS of Fez has just won the Moroccan football championship at the end of the 30th and final matchday of the 2025-2026 season, bringing a 41-year wait to an end.
