King Mohammed VI congratulates Macron on France's national day

King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulations to French President Emmanuel Macron on the occasion of France's National Day, extending his warmest wishes for prosperity to the French people, whom he said are «bound to the Moroccan people by a long tradition of friendship».

«Under our shared impetus, Morocco and France have opened a historic chapter in strengthening their privileged relationship. Our ambition is to make the Enhanced Exceptional Partnership a benchmark, a driver of prosperity and a lever for the future», the King said.

The Sovereign added that, «It is in this spirit that our two countries are working together to establish a new framework for cooperation—one that is more innovative, strategic and far-reaching, and spans multiple areas».

Welcoming this momentum, King Mohammed VI reaffirmed Morocco's determination to continue working with France «in the same spirit of friendship, trust and high standards» to implement «the ambitious vision» that he and President Macron have defined for the two countries.
