The rock and metal festival Tricinty Fest will hold its fourth edition on June 5 and 6, 2026, at the Cinéma Renaissance in Rabat, as an initiative of the Hiba Foundation. This year’s lineup features Manic Attack (Morocco), Toundra (Spain), Hypno5e (France), False Reality (United Kingdom) and The Ocean (Germany), with support from the Spanish Embassy in Morocco, the British Council and the Goethe-Institut.
For the organizers, the aim is to «champion independent music and the energy of live concerts». To that end, the event offers a program bringing together local and international artists, while steadily expanding its loyal audience year after year. According to a statement, «each edition has drawn more than 1,400 participants, with an online audience exceeding 10,000 people»; 18 bands from various countries have performed, and several industry professionals have come together to share their experiences.
In this spirit, the festival offers more than concerts. It also takes shape through other formats, including masterclasses, mentoring and capacity-building sessions, designed to «diversify the content offering» and «reach an audience beyond the general public». On May 30, a rock-metal mixing workshop was held at Studio HIBA in Casablanca, offering «a hands-on introduction to production, mixing and audio management techniques» with British musician and sound engineer Tom MacLean.
On June 5, a «First Stage» program is scheduled at Café La Scène to «showcase emerging talent from the local rock and metal scene»: Lixivia (thrash metal from Rabat), Anora (rock from Kenitra) and Darih (black metal from Casablanca). The following day, The Ocean will lead two professional workshops, subject to registration. The first, led by Jordi Farré, will focus on drums. The second will be devoted to vocals, specifically screaming, with the band’s vocalist.
As for the concerts featuring this edition’s headliners, they will «bring rock, metal and post-metal aesthetics into dialogue» on June 6, starting at 6 p.m.
