Heatwave of up to 44°C expected in Morocco from Monday to Wednesday

A heatwave is expected to affect several provinces across the Kingdom from Monday through Wednesday, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).

Temperatures ranging between 41°C and 44°C are forecast during this period in the provinces of Errachidia, Zagora, Tata, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Boujdour, Aousserd, and Oued Ed-Dahab, the DGM said in an orange-level weather alert bulletin.
