World Cup 2026: Morocco down Scotland thanks to early Saibari goal

Morocco claimed a crucial 1-0 victory over Scotland on Friday at Boston Stadium in their second Group C match at the 2026 World Cup.

The Atlas Lions secured the win just two minutes into the game through Ismael Saibari, who curled a superb right-footed strike into the top corner after being set up by Brahim Díaz.

With the victory, Morocco provisionally moves to the top of Group C with four points. The group's other fixture, between Brazil and Haiti, is scheduled to take place later on Friday in Philadelphia.
