Pakistan to establish a joint business council in Casablanca

The Moroccan Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services (FCCIS) and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) signed a memorandum of understanding to create a Joint business Council (JBC) at the chamber of commerce, industry and services in Casablanca, reports The News.

The memorandum was signed by the president of the FCCIS, Mustapha Amhal and the vice president of the FPCCI, Ishtiaq Baig. The event was also attended by a delegation of Pakistani senior officials along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Morocco Nadir Chaudhri, the same source indicates.

This project holds the objective of strengthening the business bilateral relations and creating a platform for investment between the two countries. The Pakistani delegation will also visit Marrakech today 11th May to meet the Wali of the city and the representatives of the chamber of commerce in the region.
