The police of Sale heard, yesterday «for six hours», the director of publication of Badil.info, an online website. Hamid Mahdaoui has been the subject of a complaint filed against him by the Minister of Interior, indicates the same website.
The journalist is accused of showing solidarity with Nasser Zefzafi following his very famous interruption in a mosque in Al Hoceima during the Friday prayer. He also accused two Ministers for El Othmani’s cabinet of «prevarication».
Mahdaoui is the first journalist, outside the Rif, to be heard by the police for a case related to the protest movement in Al Hoceima.
Five journalists from the Rif were arrested by the authorities and the National Press Union in Morocco has asked for their release.
